The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the day-to-day digital promotional activities of various offline and online campaigns through Search Engine Optimization, Contextual Links Building and Social Media Marketing strategies. This role is responsible for executing SEO strategies, ensuring that all On-page SEO deliverables are executed as per industry standards, focus on finding opportunities over the web to increase site authority through natural link building strategies. He/she should have proven track-record of increasing traffic, improving brand and site visibility within major search engines for competitive keywords in Software/IT industry. He/she should be well versed with managing social pages of companies – creating posts, scheduling posts, engaging conversations with influencers, increase the followers, share the company stories among the relevant social audience etc.
What we are looking for
- On-page SEO tasks such as Meta content, broken links, Schema & Rich Snippets, URL optimization, Competition analysis, XML sitemap, etc.
- Exceptional keyword research skills with good understanding of KEI value, Buyer Intent and long-tail search terms.
- Submission of website to General, Blog, Article, Social Bookmarking and RSS Directories
- Forum, Blog and Groups promotion activities
- Local business and classified postings
- Publish and promote videos on Youtube, Vimeo etc.
- Use analytics and other measurement tools to continually find ways to improve metrics and as well as engagement.
- Build the initial social posts for specific campaigns
- Build a network on social media using the pseudo accounts and engage the by sharing relevant third-party links
- Responsible for the weekly blog publishing on WordPress
- Create weekly digital marketing status reports
Requirements
- Any graduate with good command in English. Preferably over 60% in academics.
- Min 4 to 6 years of experience in all phases of Search Engine Optimization process, including in-depth site analysis, on-page optimization, link building promotion and fix accessibility issues.
- Knowledge of working with HTML and WordPress is a must. Having a good understanding in Drupal is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience working with various SEO, Analytics and social media publishing and monitoring tools including Webmaster tools, Google Analytics, GTMetrix, Buffer, Hootsuite, CrowdFire, Snip.ly etc.
- Experience working on promoting US based IT services companies.
